Welcome to Stenrud Greenhouse!

Stenrud Greenhouse is a family owned and operated small business that sells bedding and vegetable plants, some perennials, fresh garden produce, and dried arrangements at the Dane County Farmer's Market on the Capitol Square in Madison, Wisconsin. At this time, we do not sell anything online.

Market dates and locations can be found through the DCFM calendar. We plan to attend some Wednesday and all Saturday markets unless complications arise. We do not post any cancellation information online; please contact us if you would like to confirm a market date or our updated in-season produce and bedding plants.

On Saturdays, our stand can be found on Pinckney St. between E. Washington and Mifflin and Wednesdays right outside the Municipal building on MLK Blvd. See location for more information.

In Season

Fall is the best time of year! Our delectable fall produce includes leeks, shallots, garlic, radicchio, colorful swiss chard, kale, collard, fresh basil, peppers, tomatillos, okra, delicious pole beans, red and golden beets, turnips, celeriac, soy beans, and onions. We also have an assorted selection of 'everlasting' goods, such as fan-favorite everlasting bouquets, dried grasses, and Sweet Annie.
